I am an interaction designer, husband and father of three living in the Atlanta, GA area. My background is varied, somewhat eclectic and provides a strong clue to my future. Always interested in exploring new possibilities and looking for new things to learn, I have followed that muse to my delight and my despair, prosperity and penury, fun and disappointment.
Introduced to software design and development in the mid 90's, I then spent a wonderful year at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA earning a Master's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction in 1999-2000. Since that time I have been involved with software and technology in one way or another as a designer, entrepeneur, sales professional and usability consultant.
Always my focus has been on the user and how the software can support their goals and needs more efficiently. Furthermore, most of my work has been done with applications which are used to get work done, not consumer or marketing websites.
My resume is here.
I hope this site will give you an insight into how I think and to whether my experiences and training can be brought to bear on your problems.
